Founded in 1985, Badger Welding is a veteran-owned, family-operated small business built on craftsmanship and integrity. We create custom metal products for all industries across the US, proudly carrying on a legacy of quality and hard work.
Our story began in 1985, when Stan Badger set out with little more than a $600 pickup truck and a $300 Hobart welder. What started as a simple welding apprenticeship quickly grew into a lifelong passion for craftsmanship and quality.
Through hard work, dedication, and a genuine love for fabrication, Stan’s reputation spread across Western North Carolina and the Upstate South Carolina. Customers came to know Stan for strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job right — values that still define our work today.
Today, while Stan remains actively involved in day-to-day operations, his daughter Randee has proudly carried forward his legacy. Together, they lead the business with the same dedication to quality and customer care that built its foundation. Our team now provides custom sheet metal products for a variety of industries, including construction, commercial food service, and resellers/distributors. As we continue to grow and serve our customers, we strive every day to uphold the same pride, craftsmanship, and work ethic that Stan began with over 40 years ago.
